UCBC Cares Foundation is committed to raising awareness and expanding knowledge about cancer care and prevention.

Shaping the Future of Cancer Care
We partner with the Leukemia & Lymphoma Club and the Cancer Support Community at the University of Georgia, providing expert speakers to educate students about oncology, patient support, and wellness. Additionally, we collaborate with local high schools and UGA’s Work-Based Learning programs, offering hands-on experiences that connect education with real-world impact in healthcare.

Our mission extends beyond the classroom
Through community events like Breast Friends Brunch, which brings people together to raise awareness and support for breast cancer, and Strollin’ for the Colon, a walk dedicated to spreading knowledge about colorectal cancer prevention and early detection. These events provide education, encouragement, and resources to help individuals take charge of their health.
