This heartfelt event was created by a group of friends to honor and support women affected by breast cancer, as well as those seeking answers and guidance about their health. It’s a day that blends life-saving education with the power of friendship, love, and community.
With 1 in 8 women in the U.S. diagnosed with breast cancer during their lifetime, early detection is critical. Yet, the information surrounding prevention, screening, family history, and hormones can be overwhelming. Breast Friends simplifies that conversation by providing expert speakers, open Q&A forums, and a safe, welcoming space for women ages 30–60 to connect, learn, and feel supported.
Your sponsorship has a direct, measurable impact:
- $150 funds a screening mammogram for an uninsured woman.
- $200 covers a diagnostic mammogram to investigate a suspicious finding.
- $300 provides a lymphedema garment for a breast cancer survivor managing long-term side effects.
- $500 funds a breast ultrasound-guided biopsy to confirm or rule out cancer.
